Chocolate Craft scoop prizes at prestigious local award ceremony
Chocolate Craft were delighted to be nominated for two categories at the Hampshire County Magazine Award Initiative.
Everything was ship-shape and ‘Hampshire’ fashion for the first-ever HAMPSHIRE the county magazine awards, held aboard the historic HMS Warrior in Portsmouth dockyard. It was a novel venue but guests soon learnt the ropes and were navigating the gangways like true shipmates. The evening was hosted by Alan Titchmarsh and all were keen to meet the genial TV personality who had kindly given up his time for the evening for ‘the distinctive magazine with the yellow masthead’. Nominees, their guests and our sponsors mingled at a champagne reception on deck, to the harp and flute melodies of Harp Plus One and the backdrop of a setting sun on a warm and pleasant evening.
Business owner Debbie Carter said,
“I’m thrilled to take second prize for Business of the Year and third prize for Independent Food Producer for the Year”
Debbie went on to say,
“it was a wonderful evening but the achievement was in no small part due to my fabulous team who had worked very hard over the last year”
